Why Bloom Kitchen Summer Camp?
Imagine your child confidently whipping up a healthy dinner while learning important lessons about food and nutrition! Our Supper Club isn’t just another activity; it’s a hands-on experience that teaches kids the why behind healthy eating and how to cook. We focus on skills that will give them independence in the kitchen, like:
Basic Nutrition – Understanding what goes into their bodies and why it matters.
Kitchen Safety & Knife Skills – Learning the essentials to stay safe and efficient.
Cooking a Full Dinner – Every class ends with a meal they’ve prepared themselves, from start to finish!
Additional Information:
A Note About Multiple Weeks
The core lesson plan and recipes will be the same from week to week. While the group dynamic and energy will naturally vary, families registering for more than one week should expect recipe repetition. Repeating recipes helps build confidence, mastery, and independence in the kitchen.
Instructors
Whitney will personally run 2–3 camp weeks. Additional weeks may be led by trained Bloom Kitchen instructors who are fully prepared to deliver the same high-quality, fun, and supportive experience. While the instructor may vary, the camp experience will remain consistent.

What parents are saying…
Michelle M.
“My son had so much fun at cooking camp! He really enjoyed learning healthy recipes, trying new food, and being hands on with preparation. It has inspired him to help out in the kitchen and make his own creations! We are thankful for Wellness with Whit!”
Giovanna C.
“My daughter had so much fun at Whit's camp that on the last day she woke up and said, "Mom I'm really sad that today is the last day". Now she helps make dinner, cutting lettuce and making dressing.. and actually eating the things she makes. I can't wait for the next camp!”
Kelly C.
“We loved cooking with Whit! My daughter Kallie has nut allergies, and she was so good about making sure to have ingredients that were safe. The kids were engaged the whole time, all the food was delicious, and my daughter was able to leave the cooking lesson with more food knowledge. We can’t wait to join another session!”
Katie F.
“My daughter had a great time cooking and trying some new foods.”
